Cancun has a large population of Gay people, you can find 3 places in downtown, the largest one is named Karamba which is a gay disco very popular among the gay community, 1 neighborhood bar named Picante which is a small place and the other one is a video karaoke bar named 11 11 (once once), all of them are located in downtown Cancun within walking distance one from the other.  All of those places are very safe to go, the clientele is composed by local people and many tourists.
